LAMDA Cycle

What is it?
The core learning cycle of Lean product and process development encompassing five classes of development activities:

  1. Look: go and see for yourself
  2. Ask: Ask probing questions to get to the heart of the problem (e.g. 5xWhy)
  3. Model: Use engineering analysis, simulation, or prototypes to predict expected performance.
  4. Discuss: Talk through your observations and hypotheses with peers, mentors, and interface subsystem developers.
  5. Act: Experimentally test understanding or otherwise take actions to validate learning.

How can I help?
LAMDA's point is to encourage continuous substantial learning and deep understanding within the innovation and development organization.
