Kanban (Pull System)

What is it?
A method for regulating the flow of goods both within the factory and with suppliers and customers. Based on automatic replenishment via signal cards that indicate when more goods are needed.

How can I help?
Reduces inventory and waste from overproduction. Reduces the need for physical inventories (instead, they rely on signal cards to indicate when more goods need to be ordered).

To understand the operating rules and types of Kanban cards (standard, batch, signal), Consult the Kanban and Pull System Tools Guide. To further explore how to size inventory and production tags, Read the article dedicated to the pull system in inventory management.
