A3 (sometimes A4 double-sided) PDCA – Kaizen Standard
What is it?
A standard practice of obtaining the problem statement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions on a single A3-sized sheet of paper, often with the use of charts. A3 can be used for problem-solving, projects, capturing knowledge in innovation, etc.
The A3 model is also a coaching tool used in two-way communication between the coach and the coachee.

The A3 mindset forces people to condense information to the bare minimum, thus avoiding over-processing in communication.
