Results are generally achieved within a few months if pilot projects are undertaken; however, extending these results company-wide requires a long-term vision (2\u20133 years).\r\n\r\nThe implementation of Lean Production and Lean Development systems enables the launch of a pilot project through which the scope of a broader Lean initiative can be assessed. This result can be achieved in as little as 3\u20136 months and leads the company to an initial, fundamental shift in mindset.\r\n\r\nThe subsequent extension of the method to the entire value chain (and\/or to other parallel processes) requires the implementation of Lean Design and Lean Supply Chain Management systems, in addition to the consolidation of Lean Development and Lean Production already established in the previous phase. This phase, which is typically completed within the first year of the \"Lean revolution,\" is characterized by the company\u2019s new ability to manage change.\n\nOver the next 12 months, it is possible to further refine the company\u2019s Lean capabilities, making change an integral part of its philosophy and operational practices. This phase, focused on the development of innovation (in products and services), typically centers on Lean Design, process quality, and the development of strategic (Marketing) and support (Lean Accounting) initiatives.\r\n\r\nWhen change shifts from a \"process\" to a true \"operational strategy,\" the company has now entered the Continuous Improvement phase: growth has become structural, and the application of Lean methods and tools is deeply embedded in the company\u2019s logic and operational practices.","link":"https:\/\/www.leanthinking.it\/en\/case-studies\/","name":"Case studies","slug":"case-studies","taxonomy":"category","parent":0,"meta":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
